The Tethrd Workhorse Saddle Kit is designed for hunters who want a practical, comfortable, and versatile solution for mobile deer hunting. Built to simplify your saddle hunting setup, this complete system combines essential climbing ropes, a supportive hunting saddle, and a lightweight back support system in one convenient package. Whether you are an experienced saddle hunter or getting started with this hunting style, the Tethrd Workhorse Saddle Kit provides the core equipment needed to create a mobile setup for the whitetail woods.

A complete saddle hunting system

One of the biggest advantages of the Tethrd Workhorse Saddle Kit is having the primary components together in one package. Instead of sourcing individual pieces separately, hunters receive a saddle, an 11mm lineman rope, an 11mm tether rope, and the Workhorse Recliner back support. This combination helps simplify gear selection and provides a convenient starting point for building a mobile hunting system.

Comfortable support for extended sits

Comfort matters when you are spending hours waiting for the right opportunity. The Workhorse saddle is designed to support elevated hunting positions, making it suitable for hunters who want to remain mobile without sacrificing comfort. The included Workhorse Recliner adds back support and clips into the carabiner with the saddle bridge, helping provide additional support during longer hunts.

For hunters who regularly spend long mornings or evenings in the tree, this combination offers a practical way to improve comfort while keeping the overall setup focused on mobility and simplicity.

360-degree maneuverability

The Tethrd Workhorse Saddle Kit allows hunters to maneuver around the tree through a 360-degree range of movement. This flexibility can help you adjust your body position as deer approach from different directions, improving your ability to prepare for a shot without being restricted to a single facing direction.

This versatility is especially valuable when hunting changing wind directions, travel corridors, and terrain features where deer may approach from unexpected angles. With proper setup and practice, saddle hunting offers an adaptable alternative to traditional elevated hunting positions.

Built-in storage for essential gear

Keeping your equipment organized and within reach can make a difference during a hunt. The Workhorse saddle features built-in storage pockets designed to accommodate essential items such as ropes, gloves, rangefinders, binoculars, and other hunting accessories. This integrated storage helps keep frequently used gear accessible while reducing the need for additional external pouches.

The result is a streamlined setup that helps you spend less time managing equipment and more time focused on hunting.

Lightweight design for mobile hunters

With a listed weight of approximately 3 pounds, 6 ounces in Regular and 3 pounds, 10 ounces in XL, the Tethrd Workhorse Saddle Kit offers a compact option for hunters who prioritize mobility. Its listed weight rating is 300 pounds.

The included ropes provide dedicated components for climbing and maintaining your tether connection at hunting height. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, inspect equipment before every use, and use compatible safety equipment correctly.

Choose the right size

The Regular size is listed for waist measurements of 28–36 inches, while XL is intended for waist measurements of 38 inches and above. Measure your waist and review the manufacturer’s current sizing guidance before selecting your kit.

For hunters looking for an accessible, organized, and adaptable saddle hunting setup, the Tethrd Workhorse Saddle Kit brings together essential equipment in a convenient package. With built-in storage, flexible positioning, included back support, and the core ropes needed for the system, it is a practical option for preparing for your next deer season.
